FWIW will throw something into the mix; The Bible speaks on this in limited fashion. Early in earth’s history there was a race of giants - literally - called the Nephilim. According to The Bible they were the offspring of The Sons of God (Angels)& human women. Not only were they huge but their strength was super human. Also- according to The Bible - something went terribly wrong which led God to wipe out humanity in The Flood during Noah to rid the world of them.
The type of structures described above could only be manhandled by creatures of such size.
