Women want a strong, decisive, tall, handsome, wealthy, sensitive, career man, that will put his career aside to provide the childcare, cooking and home care while she pursues her career, but then somehow he also continues to attract her and capture her respect as being an ambitious go-getter that can take care of her.
At no point in my life while dating women before I married did I give one flying fuckola about what they did for a living and how much money they made.
Was I attracted to her? Was she kind? Did she seem emotionally stable?

Women value success more than men, undoubtedly. I’m less convinced that women value looks less than men, in absolute terms. Women are just pickier than men overall, so looks matter less in relative terms.
In numbers, let’s say men want a woman who scores 7+/10, and the points are primarily looks (I’m simplifying), whereas women want a 16+/20, where those 16 points come from a combination of looks and status. On average women might be even pickier on looks (8 vs 7), but looks alone are insufficient, and they will also date a 4 in looks if he’s a 12 in status, or a 4 in status if he’s a 12 in looks etc.
Obv the numbers aren’t exact but you get the idea.
I have an MD, my wife didn't finish college. She's older than me, that didn't matter. Of course, She's very attractive. But what i really wanted, and got, was a really good mother for my kids.
